My Take: By Michael Boriero

I realize we’re not out of this pandemic, actually, as I’m writing this, Premier Legault has announced curfews in red zones are returning to 8 p.m., but there’s just something about this weather.
Winter is hard on a lot of people. It was made even worse when Quebec imposed the dreaded curfew, closed down restaurants, bars, gyms and eliminated team sports. However, as soon as the sun came out and temperature started to rise, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders.
It wasn’t a particularly cold winter. We just had a lot going on, and yet at the same time, nothing going on at all. And now, while vaccines are being distributed, we have to worry about COVID-19 variants.
We need to be cautious, but I think we can benefit from a healthy dose of vitamin D. We can all use a little sunshine.
