My Take: By Michael Boriero

With Quebec easing back to normal life this summer, one can only imagine businesses will start to bring their employees back into the office.
I have to admit, this is one of the things that has interested me throughout the entire pandemic because I think most people realized working remotely isn’t so bad.
It was relatively easy once everyone got the hang of Zoom meetings. You didn’t even really have to get out of bed, or brush your teeth, which I admit to doing on several occasions.
My poor hygiene aside, I think all-in-all it wasn’t a terrible experience. That being said, living alone was the real challenge. The lack of human interaction weighed on me.
My guess is we’ll see a hybrid schedule going forward, but office buildings will not disappear anytime soon. We’re not meant to live our lives staring at a screen.
