My Take: By Michael Boriero

I have never really been one to stress out about moving day. I’ve done it a number of times. I moved to China for a year, I moved out of my parent’s place and into an apartment.
I went from Montreal to Sherbrooke last year. And now, I’m doing it all over again, as I pack my things up to return to Montreal. Maybe, in some twisted way, I enjoy moving.
I know people find it stressful and tedious. You need boxes. A lot of boxes. And there is the whole process of deciding what you absolutely NEED to bring with you.
It is not for the faint of heart. And it is not something I want to do every year. But I also find it to be a cleansing experience. It can force you to remove clutter.
And it can signify a new start.
