The fourth wave was inevitable. Legault has been hinting at it for weeks. There simply aren’t enough people getting the vaccine. I’m looking at you young folks out there.
I’ve heard too often from certain unnamed friends, and a select few family members, that they don’t need the vaccine. Or that one dose is enough if you have a healthy immune system.
But as we’ve learned throughout all of this, COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate. The Delta variant is running rampant around the world. And guess what? It’s targeting the unvaccinated.
It’s also getting younger. I’m sure we all know of, or heard of, someone who caught the virus despite getting their first dose of vaccine. I’m sick of sounding like a broken record.
People need to step up. If hospitalization and death aren’t enough to scare you, maybe it is time for a vaccine passport.
