My Take: By Michael Boriero

This is the best time of the year, in my opinion, when the weather is hot enough during the day to wear shorts, and it is cool enough at night to throw on a sweater.
But while I’m ready to embrace this short-lived period before the frigid Winter season, I keep reminding myself that not too long ago we were suffering a brutal heat wave.
It actually broke provincial temperature records, twice, in the span of a couple weeks in August. And yet, there are still climate change deniers out there.
We are literally witnessing weather abnormalities that will soon become commonplace. It’s not just here, either. The entire world has seen devastating natural disasters.
