My Take: By Taylor McClure

Anyone who knows me knows that I have the worst luck; it runs in the family. But if the last year taught me one thing, it’s that there is no such thing as bad luck. Things may not always go our way, we can hit a lot of bumps in the road, but they are there for a reason. They may serve as a nod to slow down and take a step back or as an obstacle we need to overcome to get where we want to go. Does that necessarily mean we have bad luck? We don’t like these bumps, but like when we are driving a car, we can’t always expect a smooth ride. We may have experiences that challenge us, but this is what makes us into the best person that we can be, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
