My Take: By Taylor McClure

My Take: By Taylor McClure

I’m getting ready to go back to school for the first time in over two years. Back to school can either be super exciting or nerve wracking. With things not looking quite the same as they did two years ago, I can say it’s a little bit scary. Taking on a Master’s degree at Concordia during COVID-19 is not how I planned things. There are strict health regulations that I will need to follow, a new classroom routine that I will need to settle into, and let’s not forget familiarizing myself with a city that is basically unknown to me. Stepping foot into an educational setting after being in the job force for a while is already stressful enough, I only hope that the cases go down while morale continues to rise. I look forward to learning and growing, I just hope it’s smooth sailing.
