My Take: By Taylor McClure

People are concerned about when and how the COVID-19 vaccine will be distributed amongst Quebecers; as they should be. The vaccine will get to us but in the meantime, we should be concerned about what we can do to improve the situation. Waiting for a vaccine won’t change anything but following protocols, wearing your mask, and limiting social contact will. We have a personal responsibility to follow what we are told and this is the first step in moving towards a future that is no longer ruled by COVID. When you’re being attacked, when you’re on the verge of collapsing, you’re not waiting for your backup to come save you; you fight. Thousands of people are dying each day, the economy and health care system is deteriorating, are you going to wait for the vaccine to come save you or are you going to fight?
