The new motorcycle has plenty of juice for making the rounds within the city. It can travel up to 150km before needing to be recharged. Riding the new motorcycle does require a bit of extra training, explained SPS Director Danny McConnell. Because the bike can accelerate quickly, officers will have to take the time to get used to how it handles on the road before it hits the road for regular rounds, he said.
