Luc Fortin, Member of the National Assembly for Sherbrooke and Provincial Minister of Families announced a series of new initiatives on Wednesday morning to support work/life balance in families with young children whose work schedules are outside of the norm.
“We always want to do more, and do better for Quebec families” Fortin said, explaining that although Quebec is proud of having what some consider to be the most accessible childcare options in Canada, he doesn’t consider that a sign that there is no room for improvement. “More and more we hear parents talking about the need for atypical childcare.” See full story in the Friday, June 29 edition of The Record.
