Starting on Friday, Nov. 11 through to Friday, Dec. 16, the Missisquoi North Volunteer Centre (CABMN) youth program is offering a six-week pilot project dance group at the Youth Centre located at 282 Principale in Mansonville after school to 5 p.m. for youth ages 5-12. The program is being taught by dance instructor, Sarah Holmes from Knowlton.
Sarah has been teaching dance to children in daycare, school, and after-school programs for the last 8 years. Sarah’s passion for dance and theatre began when she was 5 years old and skyrocketed from there. She completed Commercial Dance Studies in Toronto, trained for several years at popular studios around Montreal, danced in Step Up 5, an American franchise film and performed in the first french interpretation of Mary Poppins with Just For Laughs as a dancer and back up singer.
