The 2018 edition of the Knowlton Literary Festival is dedicated to the memory of Signy Stephenson. The festival opens on Thursday, October 11 and continues through Sunday, October 14. Stephenson was a local business owner and former editor of Style magazine of Toronto. “She was a solid behind-the-scenes person,” festival director Judith Duncanson told Brome County News last week. Although she wasn’t on the festival’s board of directors, she helped in other ways – like making her business, Auberge Knowlton, available.
