University District Councillor Paul Gingues announced in a press release Tuesday that Rogers Communications will not proceed with the implementation of a telecommunications tower in the Felton Street area.
“I am pleased to see that the mobilization of citizens in the area has paid off. Rogers representatives took into consideration all the concerns raised during the consultation and decided not to select this site for the construction of a new telecommunications tower. This is good news for the residents of the area,” commented councillor Paul Gingues in a recent press release. See full story in the Wednesday, Jan 22 edition of The Record.
