An accident involving three vehicles at the intersection of Highway 139 and Hall Street in East Farnham on Monday afternoon resulted in three hospital visits, but no life threatening injuries.
According to Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Aurélie Guindon, the accident happened around 1:45 p.m. and it started after a vehicle heading North veered into oncoming traffic going South. The driver swerved into the opposing lane causing one vehicle to make direct contact.
A woman and two passengers from the immediate impact were transported to the hospital, Guindon explained, but they all escaped without any serious injuries. She told The Record that with all traffic accidents, the SQ will be holding an investigation.
