The North Hatley Municipal Council will be holding a by-election on October 21, 2018, to fill its fifth seat, left vacant after the resignation of councillor Claude Villeneuve. Three candidates, Vincent Dionne, Aaron Patella, and Olivia Page are running to fill the position. A ‘meet the candidates’ event has been organized next Wednesday, October 10, at the Universalist Union Church in North Hatley at 7 p.m. by the Friends of North Hatley community group.
