Angela Leuck, an award-winning poet, an editor, and now the publisher of Shoreline Books, has long been committed to supporting and promoting writers and writing. Not a Blue Christmas, a virtual event especially suited to COVID times, is her latest such project.
“I modeled the idea of a festival for writers and storytellers on a similar event organized by the Association of English Language Publishers of Quebec (AELAQ) that is taking place online Nov. 25-29,” Angela Leuck says.
This Zoom fest is free. You don’t have to register, and you can pick and choose what’s of interest to you. There will also be free book draws and Leuck can’t help pointing out that local books make very good Christmas presents.
For more information and to request the Zoom link for the three consecutive Sunday afternoon events, you can email Leuck at acleuck@gmail.com or phone 819-416-0712. You can also check out the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/shorelinepresscanada.
