The 41st edition of the Novice-O-Rama hockey tournament will begin this Thursday at the Centre Julien-Ducharme.
Event organizers, who had cancelled the two previous editions due to the pandemic health directives, will be happy to see the young participants hit the ice again.
Novik, the Novice-O-Rama mascot, will welcome 88 teams for the upcoming tournament, under the direction of Steve Grimard, this year’s president.
“I can’t wait for it to start,” Grimanr said in a press release about the upcoming tournament, “we are ready and we are all going to work very hard to make sure the kids remember their time with us. Our goal is simple. We want to become the biggest novice tournament and festival in Quebec.”
This year’s Novice-O-Rama will take place Jan. 5 to 8 and Jan. 12 to 15 at the Centre Julien-Ducharme Centre.
