Phoenix burn bright as offense explodes for 16 goals during latest roadtrip

The Sherbrooke Phoenix were goal crazy this weekend as the offense combined for 16 goals during the club’s latest road trip.

Joshua Roy, Jakub Brabenec, Justin Gill and Jacob Melanson led the offense for the Phoenix, combining for 24 points in the two games.

On friday night, the phoenix traveled to take on the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Brabenec would score twice for the Phoenix while adding two points. The visiting Phoenix took the win as they defeated the Huskies 7-1.

The following night, it was all Phoenix once again.

The Montreal Canadiens draft pick Joshua Roy continued his scoring touch as he scored a first period hat trick just 13:14 into Saturday night’s game vs the Val-d’Or Foreurs. He added two assists for a five point night.
