The Sherbrooke Phoenix have extended their winning streak to 11 games, following a perfect weekend on home ice.

Friday night the Phoenix welcomed the Charlottetown Islanders. The home team received scoring from seven different players, including Joshua Roy who scored his 34th goal of the season while adding an assist as the Phœnix defeated the visiting Islanders 7-2.

Ethan Gauthier, Israel Mianscum, David Spacek, Joe Fleming, Jacob Melanson and Andrew Belchamber also scored for the Western Conference-leading Phoenix.

The Phoenix wouldn’t have much time to rest as they welcomed the league-leading Quebec Remparts the following night in front of a sold-out crowd.

The home team got off to an early 3-0 lead after the first period with goals scored by Justin Gill, Jacob Melanson and Ethan Gauthier. Joshua Roy would score a goal in the third period.

Controlling the pace of play, the Phoenix came out victorious with a 4-1 win.
