Sherbrooke Phoenix players Evan Fitzpatrick and Jan Dufek have been marked as players to watch in the September 2015 NHL Central Scouting preliminary list.
Fitzpatrick, Sherbrooke’s starting goalie, has been identified as a second or third round candidate in the upcoming NHL draft. Fitzpatrick has already played 345 minutes in net over six games this season and has put up a save percentage of .870.
Dufek, a six-foot centre from the Czech Republic, has been marked as a potential fourth, fifth or sixth round pick. So far this season he has played all six games, picking up five points and a +4 rating.
