Phoenix taking things ‘one game at a time’

Despite having a season to remember while reaching milestones, breaking records and winning hockey games, the Sherbrooke Phoenix continue to take things one game at a time.

While hosting the Rimouski Oceanic Thursday night, the home team continued their great defensive play while also receiving scoring from five different players. The win extended their winning streak to 12 games.

Among the goal scorers was Joshua Roy, who scored his 100th career goal in a Phoenix uniform.

“I had no idea,” he said while finding out the news. “I just want to play my game. I’m capable of scoring points but I’m more concerned with getting better and winning as a team.”

After an offensive performance where the Phoenix recorded more than 50 shots on net and took down the Oceanic, the Phoenix would prepare for the first of two weekend road games.
