Police ‘carry the torch’ for Special Olympics

Sherbrooke was one of nine locations across Quebec where a total of over 500 law enforcement officers and athletes participated in a five kilometre run (Relais de la Flamme) to raise money for Quebec’s Special Olympics team. The local run included members of the Sherbrooke Police Service, the Memphremagog régie and the Sûreté du Québec, alongside a number of athletes from the Special Olympics team.
