The City of Sherbrooke sent a formal notice to the SCFP public sector workers’ union on Tuesday afternoon demanding that the group take down pre-election posters that had been placed around the city. The posters, which show half of CAQ Leader Francois Legault’s face and half of Liberal Premier Philippe Couillard’s face lined up with each other under a slogan suggesting that the two parties are essentially the same, have appeared in several municipalities across the province as a part of a campaign by the union to get future voters to consider another option.
