By Mable Hastings – The Municipality of Potton Arts and Culture Committee has released its line-up for the summer concert series held every Sunday at the Place Manson Park in the center of Mansonville (in front of the Town Hall) from June 24th to August 26th (11:30am to 1pm). As the summer weather sizzles there is always shade, friends and good music in the park.
June 24, 2018 the Mimosa Trio featured a repertoire from popular to classical and Jazz. Canada Day weekend, July 1 Squeegee performed featuring Nancy May Dey and Glenn Bertie who performed for seven years along with their 4 piece rock band, “Mayday” and the duo are now performing together for almost four years. Squeegee performed some old, new, mandolin, guitar and vocal harmonies.
July 8 will feature Cam Nelly Trio, from Quebec City who perform Quebec classics and rock. July 15 Gummpy Old Men featuring Malcolm Bennett with an energetic mix of Rolling Stones, Tragically Hip, Tom Petty, Bad Company and other classic rock.
