Residents in the Brome Lake area lost power Tuesday morning when a truck travelling on Knowlton Road struck a Hydro pole. According to a Hydro media representative Maxence Huard-Lefebvre, the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Within one minute, roughly 1,300 locals lost power, Huard-Lefebvre said. A crew was dispatched to address the issue. Within around 30 minutes, Huard-Lefebvre said the crew managed to isolate the circuit affected and restore power to as many customers as possible.
