By Matthew McCully – Compton-Stanstead Member of Parliament and Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau hosted a consultation yesterday morning at the Lennoxville Golf club to identify regional priorities leading up to the next federal budget. Community stakeholders submitted a total of 19 briefs for review. During the consultation, attendees were given three minutes each to outline the main issues they felt should be considered when developing the next budget. The labour shortage in the region and the Sherbrooke airport were two recurring topics of conversation.
