Pro-Trump supporters storm Capitol Hill

With President Donald Trump two weeks away from having to leave the White House, hundreds of his supporters rushed Capitol Hill on Wednesday, breaking into the Capitol building.
Protesters penetrated the building around 1 p.m., pushing their way by officers in full riot gear. An armed standoff quickly ensued between protesters and police officers. Senate and House representative were evacuated shortly after.
President-elect Joe Biden addressed Americans at roughly 4 p.m. calling for civility and peace. He ended his speech saying, “enough is enough is enough,” after a reporter asked whether Biden was worried about the election results and his safety.
