By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – Prom and graduation are important milestones in the life of a student, but it can be expensive to look the part for these events. For the last seven years, Nancy Grey and the Prom Fairies have helped over 70 students from the Eastern Townships have an amazing prom and graduation night, providing prom outfits, whether they be suits or ballgowns, their hair, and their makeup, all for free. “I was not fortunate enough to attend my own prom,” Grey told the crowd attending the Prom Fairies’ fundraising bingo last year.
