Record Staff – The Minister responsible for Seniors and Caregivers, Marguerite Blais, has put out a call for nominations for the 2019 Seniors’ Tribute Award.
The award, which will be given out at a special ceremony on November 6, aims to highlight the important role volunteering can play in promoting the well-being of seniors and their increased participation in society. “Every day, across the province of Quebec, seniors invest their time and passion into improving the living conditions of people in their respective communities.” Blais said. “Their contributions deserve to be recognized, and that is why I invite the public to introduce us to these remarkable people who represent a true source of inspiration for all.” See full story in the Tuesday, April 30 edition of The Record.
