The town of Stanstead is going all in on family-friendly community projects, as Mayor Jody Stone recently announced a new and modern park, featuring a pump track, as well as tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, will be built by next summer.
“It was something that was brought up by different citizens before the elections even started, so the application was put in before the elections and we got the approval for the money sometime this spring, so that’s pretty much how it came about,” Stone told The Record.
