The Record would like to thank all those who participated in our pumpkin carving contest. Our panel of esteemed judges deliberated for most of the morning yesterday, carefully evaluating all of the submissions. After much discussion, the decision of the judges was a 12-way tie. The winner of the prize, generously donated by Clarke & Sons, was drawn randomly from among the photos submitted. Six-year-old Avery Porter (seen above) won the prize.
