Quebec and New Brunswick join forces to create Provincial Command

A historic ceremony was held this weekend at Army Navy Air Force Veterans in Canada Unit #318 “The Hut” to inaugurate the Quebec and New Brunswick Provincial Command.

On April 1, Dominion Command President Comrade Paul Hooper, Dominion Command Executive Secretary-Treasurer Comrade Deanna Fimrite and comrades from Woodstock Unit #95 were present for the inauguration of the new Quebec & New Brunswick Provincial Command.

The Provincial Command will be made up of the following ANAVETS members:

President Manderville Canam, Unit #95

1st Vice President Kevin MacIver, Unit #318

2nd Vice President Robert McFarlane, Unit #95

Peter Goodin, Unit #318

Treasurer Eleanor Beaulieu, Unit #318

Secretary Eleanor O’Neill, Unit #318

According to Linda Caron, 1st Vice President of Army Navy Airforce Veterans in Canada, Unit #318, it is significant news as it allows Quebec and New Brunswick to have their voices heard at the Dominion level.
