With three overnight camps in Quebec shutting down for at least a week due to Covid outbreaks among staff members, the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) is recommending camps bring back some of last year’s health and safety measures.
According to ACQ spokesperson Valérie Desrosiers, the virus has mostly affected camp monitors and staff, and, unfortunately, they were forced to close for a brief period because the worker shortage has made it difficult to find any last-minute replacements to take over.
