Five of the candidates for Quebec solidaire in the Eastern Townships gathered in Windsor last week for their first regional press conference of the provincial election campaign. The press conference featured no major announcement, but rather served to offer local context on a commitment on the part of the party as a whole to refocus frontline medical services in CLSCs.
“Signing people up for family medicine groups (GMFs) might be one of the worst ideas (Quebec) has ever had,” said Melissa Généreux, the candidate for Saint François and former public health director for the region.
