Record profits for Aube-Lumière poinsettia campaign

The 2020 Aube-Lumière poinsettia campaign not only broke records in terms of selling time of the plants, it also generated a record profit of $150,232, a 29-year record.
The funds raised from the campaign will be used to maintain the free care and services provided by Aube-Lumière staff to patients with advanced cancer.
“We are extremely happy and grateful to the people of the Estrie for their unwavering support, even in times of pandemic. We would also like to warmly thank our extraordinary volunteers who did not shy away from the challenges of the health directives and who applied them in a courageous and responsible manner. When all these people unite to support our patients at the end of their lives, it tells me that there is still a lot of goodness in this world,” said Patrick Ferland, chairman of the Board of Directors of La Maison Aube-Lumière in a press release.
