The Residence Brooks at 55 Brooks Street in Sherbrooke will be able to keep its licence following an intensive review by the regional health and social services administration, the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS. The review, carried out jointly by the CIUSSS and the Quebec Ombudsman’s office, was initiated after the latter found the home to have major issues in quality of living environment, staff training, and the services offered on site during a series of unannounced inspections in the spring of 2017.
