By Matthew McCully – The Richmond Volunteer Centre (centre d’action bénévole or CAB) launched a new bilingual booklet on Monday evening highlighting the services and resources available through the centre. The booklet also includes the information that a potential volunteer would need to get involved with the CAB. According to Sylvie Laval, member of the committee that developed the booklet, the goal was to address two challenges; reaching out to users to let them know what the CAB has to offer and recruiting volunteers to help sustain the different programs available.
