Rock of Ages Team Building Event at the Border Curling Club

 

On Oct. 20, Rock of Ages Canada, the granite company located in Beebe(Stanstead), held a team building event for their employees.

Rock of Ages, founded in 1885 in Vermont and now owned by Polycor Inc. in Quebec City, produce handcrafted cemetery monuments made from the finest granite and marble. Polycor Inc has become one of the largest producers of marble and granite in North America.

Hosted by the Border Curling Club and situated just across the street from the company , 50 employees learnt the fundamentals of curling from four qualified curling instructors. Curling is a sport that combines strategy, skill and teamwork. The group spent over two hours sliding, sweeping and curling. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or complete beginner, curling is an ideal sport for team building as it offers an inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.

The Border Curling club wishes to invite more local businesses to combine team building with curling .
