RRHS gives thanks for free breakfasts

Leaders in the Richmond Regional High School community reached out last week to say thank-you to the local Maxi grocery store for its ongoing support of the school’s breakfast program and “grab n’ go” fruit basket. According to Julie Corriveau Wilson, coordinator of the Richmond and Region Community Learning Centre, the breakfast program serves a free breakfast to between 10 and 15 students who would otherwise go hungry every morning, and the fruit bowl in the school’s main office is regularly emptied before noon.
