Students from École du Sacré-Cœur, an elementary school with an emphasis on arts, music and culture, marched down King Street West Thursday morning on their way to Maison Du Cinéma to watch the premiere of a film about themselves.
The school normally holds an end-of-the-year spectacle at the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke. However, the pandemic forced the administration team to come up with a new idea. They decided to make a film, highlighting students throughout the year.
“We couldn’t do it this year, so we produced a movie. We did a shoot for about five weeks, we filmed all around the school, corridors, inside, outside, so this morning we’re watching the final product,” said Sacré-Cœur Director Denis Dupont.
