Bishop’s College School (BCS) was host to Canada’s Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan, on Saturday afternoon. Accompanied by Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie and Member of Parliament for Compton – Stanstead, Sajjan held a town hall meeting with a small group of students and community members in the school’s chapel. Sajjan’s visit followed the release of the country’s new Defence Policy, entitled “Strong, Secure and Engaged,” and was meant to give the general public the opportunity to share issues of concern with the minister.
