Santa Claus is coming to town, and that means road closures

Sherbrooke’s public transit service, the STS, is advising the public that several bus routes may be delayed or altered this coming Sunday, November 24, due to the annual Santa Claus Parade. Disruptions are to be expected between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in different parts of the network. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. King Street East will be closed between Murray Street and 8th Avenue North. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., during the time the parade is moving, King Street East and West will be closed between 13th avenue and Wellington Street North, and Frontenac and Wellington North will also be inaccessible.
