Mother Nature smiled on Stanstead in time for the annual Winter Carnival at Beebe Memorial Park Saturday. Kids took advantage of a giant snow pile, horse-drawn wagon rides, bounce houses, a campfire, and sugar on snow, among other activities. Six teams also competed in a broomball tournament, with North Hatley defeating Stanstead in the final to win the championship. Published in the Thursday, Feb. 13 edition of The Record.
