School board congratulates adult education grads

Congratulations to the all the graduates of the 2022–2023 school year! The Eastern Townships Adult General Education (ETAGE) celebrated the achievement of 24 students who obtained their high school diploma or their prerequisite to Cégep or to a DEP.

Once again, we could count on the generosity of our partners to acknowledge the achievements and determination of the students and graduates. Congratulations to the following honourees: Amber Brodeur — Knowlton Lions Club’s Award, Jennifer Wykes — Yamaska Literacy Council Award, Jerome Yates — Appalachian Teachers Association Award, Destiny Pickens and Ashley St-Pierre — Brome-Missisquoi Youth Foundation Award, Athena Bowbrick — Eastern Townships Administrator Association Award, Liza Hamelin — Eastern Townships School Board Council of Commissioner’s Award. Marina Kyle, Phillip Sévigny and Moïse Mercier each received a perseverance award for their involvement in school activities, their progress, and hard work they demonstrated in all their ventures.

To our teachers and staff members, thank you for your dedication and support. The saying goes: It takes a village to raise a child; at ETAGE, it takes a wonderful team of caring and devoted individuals to help guide our students onwards.
