Series of break-ins in Lennoxville’s student village

By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – Many Lennoxville residents living in the Little Forks area have woken up to a broken in home and various missing items. The Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) confirmed that several residents have been victims of theft and have been particularly robbed of electronics such as laptops, iPads, tablets, and smart phones. The SPS believes that the perpetrators accessed the residences by prying open windows. No suspects have been identified so far. In an e-mail sent to all students, the Bishop’s University Campus Security has advised the population to secure windows and doors when leaving their residence.
