Shefford goes back to Bloc

Andréanne Larouche brought the Bloc back to Shefford on Monday, beating out incumbent Liberal Pierre Breton to return the riding to the banner that represented it through three separate governments from 2004 to 2011. Like many others in the region, the Shefford race was a close one, but Larouche’s victory was declared not long after 11 p.m. when it became clear that her slim majority was wide enough to keep her in the lead.
