Sherbrooke celebrates Super Bowl 50 responsibly, police say

Sherbrooke Police spokesperson Philippe dubois said a roadblock set up between 10-11:10 p.m. on King Street East following the Super Bowl on Sunday found no drivers under the infulence of alcohol.
Dubois said that 109 vehicles were stopped, and all were acting responsibly, adding that many people identified as their party’s designated drivers.
Only one driver was asked to submit to a breathalyzer, which proved to be below the legal limit.
“The message is getting out,” Dubois said, pleased drivers are being safe.
