Sherbrooke commits $75,000 to Centennial Theatre

The City of Sherbrooke has decided to make a one-time financial assistance commitment of $75,000 to help support Lennoxville’s Centennial Theatre. Added to the money already committed to the “Save the Stage” campaign by the Provincial Government and various donors, the contribution means that the 2015-16 season at Centennial can officially move forward.

“We have a responsibility as regional capital to support this transitional process with a focus on sustainability,” said Sherbrooke Mayor Bernard Sévigny.
