Sherbrooke event celebrates feminine diversity

By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – As part of the “Espace de la Diversité“ project, the Fédération des Communautés Culturelles de l’Estrie (FCCE) is hosting the first edition of the Diversité au Féminin. On Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 at the Hôtel le Président, various panels, conferences, expositions, and networking opportunities will be offered to all for free. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Four ambassadors will be attending the event: Christine Labrie, Sherbrooke MNA and deputy critic for the status of women with Québec Solidaire, Mariame Cissé, projects coordinator and head of the women’s committee at the FCCE, Valérie Whissell, founder of the “ITs OK!” project, and Corinne Reid, business woman and owner of Reid Notaries.
