The City of Sherbrooke launched a new local tourism initiative on Monday evening, inviting the population to rediscover the architectural heritage of the city’s downtown. Entitled “Orbite Centro” the new project is the creation of Architect Daniel Quirion and highlights ten “jewels” in the heart of the city.
“At every one of these points of interests there will be an anecdote and a seek-and-find activity,” Quirion said, explaining that the idea behind the name is that each of these significant locations could be seen as ‘orbiting’ around the central intersection of Wellington and King Streets.
